Original AquatankOriginal AquatankOriginal Aquatank

  • Compact and easily stored.
  • Excellent freeze/thaw ability. (0-180 degrees).
  • Doesn't affect the taste or smell of stored water.
  • Outstanding tensile, tear, impact an abrasion resistance.
  • 30 gal. unit was filled, pushed off a 2-story bldg. and did not burst.

NOW THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE! Previously, only fifty-five gallon barrels, 5-gallon pails or one gallon water jugs were primarily used for consumer water storage needs. Aquatank is a durable, lightweight water storage container. Unlike 55 gallon barrels, it is easily stored when not in use. Prior to use they take up very little space. The 110-gallon unit stored weighs less than 2 lbs. and only takes up 3' by 6" of storage space.

Unlike the original Aquatank that was designed to be stagnant after filling, the Aquatank II can be transported in an SUV, truck, etc. without the risk of damaging the unit. This new Aquatank II is made from a heavy duty polyurethane coated nylon that is suitable for potable water. This material is highly puncture resistant, durable and flexible. It will not wrinkle or crease or crack.

STORING WATER

Storing water can be a problem if it is not done properly and not in the proper containers. Not all containers are safe for water storage. Aqualflex storage containers are constructed of an advanced FDA approved, food-grade material new to the marketplace. Many other containers will leach chemicals and other undesirables into your water supply which may contaminate it or affect it's taste and/or smell.

Most authorities recommend storing at least two to five gallons of water per person, per day, for drinking, cooking, food preparation, sanitation, etc. when preparing for an emergency.

The purity of the water in your Aquatank is only as good as the water you put into it. Be sure to fill your Aquatank with clean, potable water to keep stored water contaminant-free.

The Red Cross suggests..."Keep at least a three-day supply of water per person (two quarts for drinking, two quarts for each person in your household for food preparation/sanitation)...

Your body needs water much greater than it needs food. A person can survive without food for a week or longer, but without water, after only a few days, one can be faced with serious, life-threatening problems. Virtually every bodily function requires water.

As you may know, many people and counties' water supplies have been contaminated by recent natural disasters (such as hurricane Floyd) and are often without clean water for quite some time...Aquatank water storage containers help you be prepared for the unexpected.
